Winter Wedding at Wiston House

I kicked off 2016 with the winter wedding of Matt and Kim at Wiston House. I met the couple 6 weeks before their wedding and that was when they booked my services for their Big Day! Living on the edge them two!

On the day, I set off early in the morning. The sun was just breaking over the Downs as I pulled up to the main gate of Wiston House. I was taken by the beauty of this place and couldn't stop stirring at the landscape in front of me.

Wiston House is a large 16th century country house nestled in the heart of the South Downs. With magnificent interiors, beautiful orangery and tranquil surroundings it is a perfect spot for a wedding. Just imagine having 6000 acres of parkland to enjoy for the day. 

As with all winter weddings, light is at premium. That's why when the guests were enjoying a glass of Champagne inside Wiston House, I stole the couple to get a few intimate portraits of them two together…not forgetting the bump! Despite of freezing cold we managed to get a couple of pictures outside the venue. When we had enough of frosty weather, we swiftly moved into the Victorian orangery. I must admit, that was my favourite part of Wiston House and perfect spot for photography too.
