Low Light Weddings and Winter Weddings

Photographing low light scenes can be tricky and challenging at times, but the results can definetly be worth the hassle! Whether I photograph low light weddings, winter weddings, couple portraits at dusk or a reception in a dark barn I want to make sure you will end up with images that will make you stop and look deeper.

I treat low light situations not as a challenge but as an opportunity to create something different, unique and dramatic. Memorable moments don't always happen in perfect light, you have to be skilled and prepared to steal them!  I love capturing the mood of the day and embrace the darkness into my work, either using available light or by dragging out my flashes to achieve the result I have in my head.

Low light weddings and winter weddings are one of my favourite to capture. They can be utterly magical and romantic with all the candles, fairy lights and if you are lucky- snow. I love being part of them as I am able to capture the ambience of the day as well as show the dark and moody side of my style that I love!
