When Tom and Zoe told me about their wedding plans I was hooked - shooting an island wedding sounded tropically amazing to me! The couple decided to tie the knot on Hayling Island at the Tournerbury Woods Estate. And what an amazing venue it is! Tournerbury Woods Estate offers an abundance of space to enjoy with your family and friends, gorgeous sea front where you can have a glass of bubbly staring at the horizon as well as picturesque woodland dotted with small ponds and ferns.

On the day of Tomas and Zoe's wedding at Tournerbury Woods I arrived earlier to explore the sites and couldn't stop admiring the beautiful surroundings bathed in fabulous sunshine.  Every corner had an amazing picture opportunity. Having such a fantastic scenery to shoot against is like a dream come true. I particularly loved the old oak trees dotted round the Tournerbury Woods that I incorporated  into some of the couple portraits!

Tomas and Zoe's plans of a romantic outdoor wedding hinged on the weather. However underrated English weather is, this time was surprisingly kind and delivered! Thanks to the beautiful sunshine throughout the day Tomas and Zoe were able to tie the knot in a romantic Victorian gazebo having beautiful Tournerbury Woods as a backdrop. I must admit I am a big fan of outdoor weddings... There is something truly magical and charming about them...What can beat saying I do under the blue sky?!
