After battling some serious rain for the last couple of days, I finally managed to meet up with this beautiful couple over the weekend for their Sussex engagement session.

They decided on a countryside setting for their Sussex engagement session.  I thought nothing would fit better with their brief than Chailey Common Nature Reserve.  A place that I have visited so many times and I have always wanted to shoot there.  I love the landscape of the Reserve, a mix between Icelandic and English Countryside. The area is filled with woods, heather and open grassland providing amazing backdrops.

I saved the best for last, The Ridgeview Wine Estate in Ditchling Common.  I was really inspired by the rows of the vineyard.  They reminded me of my Sicilian holidays where I tasted some fabulous wine in a vineyard on Mount Etna.

This  Sussex engagement shoot was one of a kind. There was so much fun, giggles and laughter and that is without me trying to crack any jokes! The couple have such a great energy, it’s really fun to be around them.  You can clearly see the love they have for each other.

Now, tic toc… six weeks left for their Big Day! I can’t wait!
