Shaun and Chloe's Brighton Wedding at The Meeting House

In the first week of September, I made my way to Brighton University to capture Shaun and Chloe's special day at the Meeting House.

I have to say the venue is truly unique and different to any other you might have seen in the past.  Just imagine a kaleidoscopic, circular building built in the sixties. You might think it doesn't start too promising.  But now add to your picture hundreds of little windows, each stained with a different coloured pane of glass.  And then watch the light coming through them... The atmosphere inside  is simply magical. Celebrating your special day in the middle of it all with your closest family and friends  must feel absolutely amazing!

Chloe and Shaun chose to have a humanist ceremony led by Chris, the Chaplain. His speech was very energetic and uplifting. He definitely put a smile on everyone’s face and filled the room with love and laughter.

We were very lucky with the weather too. The rain managed to keep away until we had completed all the shots outside that we planned for the day.  After that the canapés and drinks were waiting for us inside The Meeting House.

After the wedding breakfast and a few proseccos, Claire from Dream Spin invited the guest to burn some calories during her hula hoop session.  I was so impressed to see absolutely everyone getting involved, from small kids to parents and grandparents. Not to mention the Bride! Swing those hips people!

As my time with the wedding party at The Meeting House came to an end, the party was just getting started!
